Typically, ear piercings may take anywhere from 6-8 months to heal (depending on your individual body). Therefore, it's crucial to follow the proper care process. Additionally, selecting quality earrings can expedite the healing process. Just remember the following: Avoid touching with water and soap for the first 4 days. Avoid contact; if your job nature or piercing location makes it difficult to avoid frequent contact, ensure to keep your hands and the area around the piercing clean. If the piercing accidentally comes into contact with dirt, clean it with saline solution and tetracycline mouthwash (remember to wash your hands regularly with antibacterial soap to avoid touching the piercing).

General Care Process:

To prevent infection, post-piercing care is crucial. Therefore, you will receive specific instructions after getting your piercing at [Recycle].

Oral Piercing Care Process:

Oral piercings require special care, especially for mouth, lips, and tongue piercings, to prevent inflammation or infection.

Unlike ear piercings, the mouth is an unavoidable contact area and contains a high number of bacteria. Oral piercings are susceptible to inflammation and infection. Therefore, it’s essential to regularly rinse with Listerine after eating and after brushing your teeth for the first 1 or 2 months.

DOES IT HURT WHEN PIERCING?

Pain levels during piercing can vary greatly from person to person, so it's difficult to determine the exact level of pain. The piercing process is usually quite fast, and you may only feel a quick, sharp sensation, similar to a mosquito bite.

HOW TO CARE AFTER PIERCINGS?

It takes 6 to 12 weeks for a piercing to heal. You don’t need to worry too much because our piercers will detaily provide instruction on how to care for your piercing. The most important is to keep it clean and avoid touching the piercing.

HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO GET A PIERCING

It depends on the type of piercing and the location you want to get it. If you are under 16, you will typically need to have a parent or guardian to accompany you. Our general guideline is to ensure that customers feel positive consent. That’s why we have age requirements for piercings.

WHAT TYPES OF PIERCINGS CAN [RECYCLE] PERFORM?

We perform nearly all piercing types (excluding sensitive areas), but you should also understand that not all piercing types may be suitable for everyone due to individual anatomy. You should consult with a piercer for the most accurate advice.

DO YOU USE A GUN OR A NEEDLE FOR PIERCING?

We use needles under the skin for all types of piercings.

DOES THE PIERCING AT [RECYCLE] COME WITH JEWELRY?

The cost includes jewelry.

WHAT MATERIAL ARE THE JEWELRY PIECES AT [RECYCLE] MADE OF?

We use jewelry made from titanium and silver, as these materials are suitable for the healing process after piercing.

HOW SHOULD I CARE FOR MY PIERCING?

The care routine for your piercing depends on its location. For piercings outside of the mouth, the piercing site should be cleaned daily or more frequently with saline solution and tetracycline ointment provided by the piercer. For oral piercings, the piercing should be cleaned 6-8 times a day. You can visit [Recycle] again or call the hotline for further advice.

HOW DO I KNOW IF MY PIERCING IS INFECTED?

It depends on the symptoms you have. Most customers often mistake redness as a sign of infection. The best approach is to visit [Recyce] for detailed advice. If the piercing site turns purplish, becomes painful, or develops pus, you should see a doctor promptly.

SHOULD I EXERCISE AFTER GETTING A PIERCING?

It depends on the piercing location. For areas like the abdomen, nipple, or subdermal piercings, [Recycle] does not recommend strenuous activity immediately after piercing. You should keep the piercing clean, wear loose-fitting clothing, and avoid letting hair come into contact with the piercing.

CAN I PIERCE THE SAME SPOT TWICE?

Usually, it's possible, but [Recycle] recommends waiting at least 4 months after removing the jewelry to allow the piercing site to heal. It's advisable to consult with a piercer about the piercing location and consider the feasibility of repiercing.

DOES [RECYCLE] OFFER SILVER JEWELRY?

Yes, customers can request silver jewelry if they prefer, and the cost may be slightly higher.
